Hypnotherapy for weight loss can be a very helpful aid on your journey. It is one of the more common issues we help people with in practise. Using hypnotherapy for weight loss isn’t a quick and easy fix. It’s also not something that we can help with in just a few consultations either. It’s more of a support tool to help get you where you want to be. We aim to support you for around 3 to 6 months, with either fortnightly or monthly consultations.
The changes you want to achieve would be something that you want to sustain for many years to come. Here at Affinity Hypnotherapy we want to see all of your efforts and good results, last you a life time. Therefore, we are best suited to support you in a healthy sustainable lifestyle. We will recommend you see a specialist such as a dietician or nutritionist to help you determine a healthy eating plan.
What we do to help you….
The reasons why people gain weight can range from simple, easy to help you with, bad habits. All the way through to more complex issues. Sometimes injury can prevent movement and that can be the start of a downward spiral of added kg’s. It could be over eating or emotional eating, or a combination of all of the above. Then we have the underlying causes of these actions, are you over eating to relieve boredom? Are you emotional eating when stressed from a day’s work? Or maybe the main issue is not enough knowledge around nutrition maybe?
Whatever the cause or pattern you’re in, together we can begin to work through these issues. We will use hypnosis to help tackle old unhelpful beliefs, attachments, associations and habits that you may have around food. Our work can also help you with creating new, better suited patterns that assist you along the way. Although this isn’t an easy quick fix, you can take comfort in the fact that we’ll be there to help support you on your journey to be healthier, fitter and lighter for the rest of your life.
